Guests are expected to return the vehicle in accordance with the following policies. Failure to do so may result in additional fees.

Return Time & Location

​

• Vehicles must be returned on time to the contracted drop-off location.

• Returns later than 30 minutes past the agreed time will be considered late and are subject to a late return fee.

• At the Freedom Earned Rentals location (186 North Ave, Jonesboro GA, 30236) , vehicles must be returned to the designated parking area, next to other vehicles with lockboxes.

Fuel Policy

​

• Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as when picked up (unless Prepaid Fuel was purchased).

• If fuel is missing, a fuel reimbursement will be charged along with a $10 inconvenience fee.

Return Procedure

​

To avoid an Improper Return Fee, all guests must follow these steps exactly:

1. Park the vehicle in the designated return area.

2. Roll the back window down completely.

3. Exit the vehicle and place the lockbox on the window, with the keypad facing outward.

4. Roll the back window all the way up to secure the lockbox (do not leave the window cracked or partially down).

5. Turn off the vehicle.

6. Place the key in the lockbox and securely lock it.

Failure to follow any of the above steps will result in a $50 Improper Return Fee.

Additional Fees

​

• Smoking fee: $150 if any evidence of smoking is found.

• Pet fee: $150 if any evidence of a pet in the vehicle is found.

• Excessive dirt cleaning fee: $75.

• Broken or missing lockbox fee: $75.

• Missing accessories fee: $10 plus the replacement cost (includes items such as chargers, car seats, etc.).

• Missing or broken key fee: $350.

• Improper return location fee: $50 plus any additional costs incurred (e.g., towing, citations).

• Towed vehicle return to Freedom Earned Rentals: $200 fee (plus any additional costs incurred (e.g. towing costs, citations, boot removals).
