Violations

 

Freedom Earned Rentals reserves the right, but not the obligation, to investigate and take appropriate legal or administrative action in response to any suspected violations of this Agreement, to the fullest extent allowed by law. This may include reporting activity to law enforcement, pursuing claims in civil court, or terminating your access to the Services.

We may, at any time and without prior notice, in accordance with applicable law, remove or restrict access to content, vehicles, or accounts we determine, in our sole discretion, to be in violation of these Terms, harmful to the Freedom Earned community, or otherwise objectionable. If we believe you are misusing our Services, breaching our terms or policies, or engaging in fraudulent, abusive, unsafe, or misleading conduct, we may take any action we deem appropriate. These actions may include—but are not limited to—account suspension or termination, denying damage claims, demoting or delisting vehicles, restricting access to protection plans or other Services, reducing or eliminating discounts or incentives, canceling trips, charging applicable fees, or pursuing legal remedies.

We also reserve the right to limit or restrict access to the Services or listings if your pricing is egregiously out of sync with local market trends, your conduct results in excessive cancellations, or if you engage in behavior that violates the letter or spirit of our Terms.

Policy Enforcement

Freedom Earned Rentals reserves the right to exercise discretion in how policies are enforced, including when evaluating user history, context, or mitigating factors. We may choose to provide a warning or be lenient in isolated or exceptional situations, based on our internal judgment.

Communications

By using the Freedom Earned Rentals platform, you consent to receive communications from us electronically, including by email, app notifications, and text messages. We may contact you to confirm account activity, process or investigate transactions, recover unpaid balances, provide legal notices, or share updates essential to your use of the platform.

You authorize Freedom Earned Rentals and its service providers to use autodialed or prerecorded calls and messages for these purposes, consistent with applicable law. We may record or monitor phone calls and online chat interactions for training, quality assurance, fraud prevention, or compliance purposes. If you do not wish to have a conversation recorded, we recommend you contact us in writing instead.

Insurance and Protection Plans

Freedom Earned Rentals is not an insurance provider. However, we may offer access to third-party supplemental protection plans for renters or hosts, including liability or physical damage coverage where applicable. To qualify for coverage or claim eligibility, renters and vehicle providers must comply fully with these Terms and with the usage restrictions outlined in your rental agreement.

Protection plans, if purchased or offered, are subject to the specific terms and exclusions of the provider and may vary by state. These may also include add-ons such as additional mileage packages and optional services. Freedom Earned Rentals does not guarantee coverage under any third-party policy and assumes no liability for disputes arising from insurance claims or coverage denials.
